ECONS IS FINALLY OVER, oh how long have i waited for this day. I won't say that the paper was awesome, the essay was quite WTH-ish and the macro bit for the case study was pretty tough. I'm just so glad it's over FOREVER cos i don't think i'll be taking econs again, ever.
I'm a little envious of those who end their As today, but it's fine cos i only have 3 papers left (3h 45 mins of exam time in total) and i'm going to party after next monday because i'm quite good at Bio MCQ anyway, so leaving 5 days to study for it is good enough for me.
I already feel the urge to paint my nails in seafoam (my holiday indicator) and start diy-ing stuff. I feel like starting on my 24802938402 th round of Full House/Goong too....
 I would deconstruct a sweater...if i had a spare sweater to play with (i sequined my spare sweater and i love what i did to it). I would sew that lace crop top...if lace wasn't so expensive ($13/metre). I'll wear it over bodycon dresses or for layering...i think the whole wearing-see-through-lace-over-only-linge rie look is skanky, sorry. I would fashion a clutch purse out of cloth and sequins...if i had all the patience in the world. I would sew a bucket bag like that one above...if i actually knew how to. ... OMG the latest MBLAQ picture spread....i drool. |

Mango's getting it's groove back by getting Leigh Lezark, Scarlett Johansson and Daisy Lowe to front their F/W '09 campaign...i think it's working. I like the half jeans/half faux leather one ALOT (it's probably the closest i can get to those Givenchy S/S 09 jeans) and the best bit, it's about 89 SGD! That means that the price will be pretty wallet friendly during the EOY sale. Hohoho. It hasn't hit the stores yet tho, i told my mum to keep a lookout for me. The first pair is pretty cool, but can you imagine what happens if you fall down and land on your knees...bruises man.

Econs was.....sigh. I'm comforted a teensy bit because the people around me who are damn good at econs (AB scorers) thought the essay questions were pretty WTH too. Thank God i have no papers tomorrow!

I sunk into fangirl depression last night because Lee Joon injured his ankle and it was wrapped like a ba zhang. That means he won't be performing this entire week and the week after and Mblaq barely had any performances last week! At least i'm watching NINJA ASSASSIN NEXT WEEK! Wooooo.
Aye, please don't mock me for being a crazy fangirl. I complained to Jerrold about it....he thought i was nuts.

Today's Chem was 50-50, although i was pretty much stumped at question 2 and i was so worried that i got my empirical formula wrong for question 5 (Haha yes, THAT is how bad i am at Chem...but thank God, my empirical formula was correct). I only have Econs left for the week...another 2 chapters of notes to memorise, thank God both Econs papers are afternoon papers.
Anyways i said this on FB but i'm gonna say it again! The clique is going to watch Ninja Assassin with me! I'm so excited to watch it...i think i'm more excited than i was during the Harry Potter season. But since i'm not 1% an action flick fan, i might be pretty bored after Joon's exit. Still, Joon on the big screen is O_O. I want to watch New Moon as well (Eww Kristen Stewart, Bella and even Edward Cullen) because of Jacob Black and not Taylor Lautner. Confused? Ooh i'm saving Disney's A Christmas Carol as my christmas movie!
Monday is 6 days away. Muahahaha. But the clique agreed to leave more-than-enough 5 days to study for Bio MCQ, before which we will go out and play like mad.

I am so thankful the most tiring week for A Levels is over. 4 consecutive days of papers with 3 papers on Wednesday. Now that i think back, it's quite amazing that we survived the week? And the amount of sleep i had during those 4 days...you can count them with your 10 fingers.
AND IT'S GOODBYE TO GP AND MATH, FOR-EH-VUUUUUUH.
I've got 6 papers left and omg Econs is next week. I have so much to study for Econs. Urgh urgh urgh.
화이팅!... Faux fur and leather gloves. I saw that dress when i visited Topshop 2-3 weeks ago and it has this amazing lattice back with a zip running down through the back...it was so hot, reminded me alot of those tiny Herve Leger dresses, but my mum said 'Don't you dare wear that!' I think seeing buy one piece of ostentatious clothing that day was enough for her. I also got nail lacquers in brink pink, some other pink and SEAFOAM BABY! Seafoam is so hard to find! ...
(P.S// Joon's the blindfolded one) Need to watch Ninja Assassin! Even though i'm totally not an action flick fan and Joon is going to kiss a girl/put his head on her shoulder/ get walloped...i might end up throwing popcorn at the screen.

We, J2s graduated today and i am kind of happy? Sorry, i don't really like that school anymore so no feelings attached...compared to TKG graduation when i really bawled my eyes out. Anyways i'll have to go back for two more GP classes, a mock exam and A Levels. Phooey.
I'll try not to come online until my As are over. At most just to check updates here and there (MBLAQ!) and that's it! If you see me facebooking, MSNing (like i ever!) or blogging, tell me to go and study!

James & Sandra's wedding:
I wore the same blue bodycon dress from the last wedding (baaah i have no clothes) and my peach dress is from The Scarlet Room. The picture showing me touching my throat was me trying to make a point that everyone has a double chin when you look downwards. Unless you're literally a bag of bones, of course. Anyway, congratulations to the newly weds!
Graduation Day:
         21/08 is made of awesome! Mrs Noordin is the coolest teacher i've ever known, just check out her sexy poses.The korean words in the last picture reads 'Come back, JaeBum ~', written by Yvette. Also, A couple of TA students danced to kpop during the concert, and i got a little too excited during Tell Me Your Wish. The concert was more enjoyable then i thought it'd be, but i thought one of the performers went a little too far by being kinda rude to one of the tutors in his attempts to be funny. Thankfully for him, that tutor didn't take it too seriously, i think. Anyway, i'm gonna miss 21/08 and the floorballers! <3

Today was one of the more exciting school days.
It was the J1's sports carnival and the seniors didn't get involved cos we're suppose to be in study mode and all. Now how's that exciting? Well, the person in charge of the carnival music was obviously a kpop fan because while i was having Bio lessons, ABRACADABRA, Again&again, Nobody, Gee was blasting through the walls and later Heartbreaker and Tell Me Your Wish as well.
I have no problems with that, i was kinda pleased that someone bothered playing kpop (i swear if they played 'Oh Yeah' by MBLAQ, iwould have been thrown into a fangirl frenzy...but they didn't...) but during my chem mock exam, Tell Me Your Wish was playing so loudly and that particular chorus line (so won neun mal hae bwa bwa bwa bwa ~) was annoying me so much i couldn't concentrate for 3 minutes.
Yay this is the definition of exciting in TJ, wheee.
Anyways, i was just stoning yesterday and thinking about what sort of prom dress i would wear for prom (that is if i were to go, which i'm not) and i started sketching random dresses until i remembered this:

How gorgeous is this dress! The colour, the drapes, the length, the slit, the metallic zip that runs down the front. And probably worn with a pretty gold headpiece (i love those from House Of Harlow 1960) and i would really wear it with sandals. But heh, the dress isn't even available yet and even if it were, i'll only be able to afford it in like 10 years time. Well there's always an alternative way: the sewing machine, chinatown fabric and zip, chains from the DIY shop under Tampines MRT. :)

Final grades for prelims are B,C,C,S,S for GP, Bio, Math, Chem and Econs respectively. I know...i'm not too happy with the Ss, my fault tho. I have a mock Chem exam on Friday...i hope i do well enough.
Anyways, i'm annoyed that our farewell is next Monday! WHAT IS THIS! WE STILL HAVE TO COMEBACK DURING OUR BREAK?! This school is exploiting our study breaks!

Finally done with that stoopid budget thing my tutor assigned us to do...and she had to make me a group leader. Isn't it the wrong time for group work? I hate groupwork...never liked it.
I shall sleep late tonight, since i finish school at 10.50 tomorrow. YOHOHO.

How is it possible that i'm still sleepy despite having slept 8 hours and an additional 3 hours in the afternoon? Hmmm.
Anyhoos it's my Grandpa's birthday today and we had some dinner at some restaurant. The food was okay...didn't eat very much. I couldn't even if i wanted to cos i was wearing uber high waisted shorts that doubled as a corset, if i ate anymore than i did i'm pretty sure i would send the buttons flying out. But but but, i got those shorts last year and surprisingly i can still fit into them (considering the fact that the last time i wore them was in August 2008)!
I'm so bored of studying already luh ohmoooo. And i barely studied the entire week even though i ended school early on four days. Sigh, 어떻게?
... I like these two alot. I know military jackets and motocycle jackets are so been-there-done that but these jacket are kinda different from the usual ones yeah? The left looks kinda like something from Temperley London with the ruffles at the bottom and the right is the motorcycle jacket's feminine sister. Haha.
Ooh i'm going to get myself a pair of boots and a leather jacket for my Korea trip next year when me and momsy accompany Sarah for her exchange programme. Finally, my beanie and thigh high socks will be of some use. The trip's about 4 months away but i'm so excited! I'm finally going to Korea!

Another 5 episodes to go for Shining Inheritance and all i can say for now is 'Poor JunSe!' Seriously why do all the super nice and sweet guys in Kdramas end up not getting the girl in the end? Instead, it's the once bratty and spoilt other male lead who gets the girl. When WooHwan (the other male lead) cried i was like 'Hmm okay...', when JunSe cried because he lost the girl he liked i went 'Awwww...poor JunSe!'
Okay drama aside.
I would like to thank God for my 85% for Bio MCQ (claps) but i seriously seriously hope that my paper 3 turns out okay so that it can pull my bio grade up. Pleeeeease? I got back all my math papers and i improved in general, but i think almost everyone screwed up paper 2...i just hope i get a C.
Another 30 plus plus days to the big As. Hai.

 Chan and Myself at the church wedding. Check out the (relatively) low back and power shoulders on my dress yo.  It's a little dark, i tried to edit it because the initial colours were pretty dull and this is what i got. I love Joce's outfit. She wore a seriously gorgeous sequined cropped top over a nude drape dress thing and carried a super cool faux fur clutch. ...   Lastly, some webcaming from last friday when i started on Shining Inheritance and continued the sequining of my sweater. The sequin patch grew...but it's not very clear in the picture though.

I managed to go through 21 episodes of a new drama Shining Inheritance starring Lee Seung Gi and Han Hyo Joo in 2 days! I'm fine with SeungGi, though i think he should smile more because he looks like a bulldog if he doesn't. I've always liked Han Hyojoo, but her cheek-puffing tendencies are getting annoying.
Anyways my new timetable is pretty awesome, only one day that ends after 12.30, which means plenty of time for revision! I got back Math today and i can say i made a huuuuuge improvement. I'm happy (and i am thankful) because this is the highest score i've ever gotten, but on the other hand...most people around me did pretty well so...hmmm. Chem was %#$%#%#$^. Yeah, what's new right?
I went for Lionel and XiangRu's wedding on Saturday. I wore my new shoulder padded dress and a pair of wedges i've never worn before. BAD IDEA because my feet were really dying, my toes felt like they go slammed with something and they were covered in plasters within 2 hours of wearing them. My last self-proclaimed holiday day was spent ice skating with the boy pals and BAD IDEA because the tight skating shoes we had to wear totally aggravated my 'feet condition'.

My favourites from the Christopher Kane for Topshop (which came out a looooong time ago). I guess eyelets are a pretty refreshing change from studs, eh? Imagine wearing an eyelet hoodie, pretty cool. The tights are diy-able if you have tonnes of patience and those gems with holes in them so that you can sew them instead of using glue. |

We were all smiles when we left the hall yesterday BECAUSE OUR PRELIMS HAVE ALMOST ENDED. Except for the sickening Bio MCQ tmr afternoon. Okay, sure i probably screwed it up but i'm just happy that it's over!
So i slacked the whole after yesterday after Econs and it felt awesome...doing pointless things! I woke up late today as well, something i haven't been able to do in a long time. I will study for my Bio MCQ because i really need to score reeeeaally well for it...but i'm gonna do a little sewing and possibly a little ripping with a pen knife as well.
Oh, completely off-topic but i finally know how to pronounce Lanvin. Teddy Park taught me. Haha. Seriously, all these high fashion labels have the most misleading spellings. Some of them sound nothing like how it's spelt, you have to tweak the vowels a little. For example, how would you pronounce Christian Louboutin. It's LOO-BOO-TAWN.
Ooh do you like my new background image for the LJ? It's the dripping Chanel logo. Btw, it's SHA-NEL, not CHER-NAL. Okay, i stop.
... I love those shoes, the cut is awesome...looks like something that Taylor Momsen wears.

Took an hour break from Chem. Seriously, i give up already...screw chem. At least i feel comforted that i studied the periodic table. I went to the exam hall for Paper 3 knowing nothing about it...my script was....kinda sparsely filled with words.
Anyways, i proudly say that i managed to save 50 bucks this month...until just now when i clicked confirm for a pair of high waist pants and a padded shoulder bodycon dress (my mum's gonna laugh at me...she says padded shoulders were during her time). Eh, at least i kept it to the end of the month! And i've been wanting that sort of pants (not jeans) for sometime but all the other blogshops made them so expensive...until today that is. And yeap, the dress is for Lionel and Xiangru's wedding and it will double up for my cousin's church wedding as well. No more time to look for another one.
I feel nice. But the euphoria will last for half an before reality sets in and i find myself taking Chemistry Paper 2 in the hall in 8 hours. Sheesh.

Aye...i wished i wrote faster. I spent 35 minutes on the first question, i got a shock when i looked at my watch and started to panic. I had to read the introductory paragraph for the next question multiple times because i panicked. I managed to reach the end of the paper, though there were quite a few blanks here and there. They asked about protein again. I think it's because they know that bio students don't pay much attention to protein thinking that our bio concepts are enough...clearly it isn't.
Ooh about that pants, the person i got it from first told me it was pending. I was thrown into a bimbo-shopaholic frenzy because i already started fantasizing about the pants. So i remembered i saw it elsewhere and i clicked every single blogshop on my internet history until i found it. It's mine.
My mum said i was a terror. She scolds me for shopping excessively but not for not studying. I wish she did both..hmmm.

I screwed up chem because i couldn't finish studying and econs because...hello econs?! Since when did i have any interest in econs? The only way to salvage my grades for both subjects is to do relatively well for the other components. Haai.
My source of entertainment now comes from Drake & Josh (i love that show omgggg so funny) and Blair Waldorf ( "Ewww! I'm wearing a glove and i'm still going to wash my hands!").

Hello, the highlight of the week was my amazing feat of not sleeping at all before my GP and Bio papers. Damn you Red Bull, cheated me of my money and caused me insomnia. But the good thing was i was still pretty awake throughout the day...until i got home and hit the bed that is.
Kids, Red Bull is bad for you. Drink chicken essence instead.
I slept at 4 last night...doing complex numbers. Not enough time to finish everything! Urgh.
Sidenote, THAT lace dress will be mine on Monday. I need it for both weddings that i will be attending soon. I already got a matching hair accessory. |

Life is getting pretty boring aside from the occasional excitement from fashion week (A.Wang's show was a slight disappointment...) and online shopping. I wish i was that excited when it comes to studying. Like 'Oh yay, i'm going to start on a new topic! Joy!' First three papers will be on Thursday, GP and Bio Paper 2. Pray for me, okay? Thank God i only have papers on one day this week and i have another three days to study before the onset of Prelims.
