Oh wow. I realised i haven't done a proper entry since 27th October? Uni killed my life for the past month but it's all over now! I'm done with my exams and it's my holidays! I won't say the papers were well done, but it could have been worse so i'm thankful that it's all over and i pray hard that my CAP will be pretty good!
So now, i'm finding things to do instead of lazing around and wasting my precious holiday. Was out on a Girlie Day with Babugs and Tabitchy joined us for rainbow xiaolongbao's during dinner. Caught Rapunzel (Disney, why you keep churning out such magical things and make me feel like a kid? :') ), had a SUPER BAD manicure (ranted about it all over Twitter yesterday) and i finally got my haircut!
This is rainbow XLBs from Paradise Dynasty at Ion Orchard. The flavours are original, ginseng, garlic, foie gras, crab roe, szechuan, cheese and black truffle. It was good but IMO, i really prefer Dintaifung's, both in taste and presentation.
I did my hair at Klearcuts Hairdressing at FEP. Their service was good and their rates are too! Their staff are also pretty attentive and friendly even though they had so many customers! I'm probably gonna go back there from now on to do my hair. But you definitely have to go on appointment because they have so many customers, especially during weekends.
I can't upload any photos now for some unknown reason, but those who follow me on Twitter would have sort of seen it already. It's ALOT shorter than before, couple of inches below the collar bone (it was at my waist level previously) and i dyed it very dark brown-almost black. My 4 coloured hair is gone! I'm really happy with my new hair though it needs some getting used to bcos the last time i had hair this short was in January 2008 or something.

Who doesn't love trivias?! Anyway, my brain is about to explode and my skin is dying from all the stress i get from school. Busiest week of my uni life to date with one essay (thank God i thought of finishing it early last week), one 15-page group essay (deadline on friday and we are not halfway done omg) and one mid-term test (TODAY!).

Most people don't know this about me: Despite how i look, I AM NOT A PARTY GIRL/ WILD CHILD. I actually hate parties because most of them are quite pointless and it's just an excuse for people to drink alcohol. Which i also don't like. Another fact, i cannot drink alcohol and i don't think it's anything to be embarrassed about.
My favorite music: I listen to a wide variety...i just don't like those heavy rock type. Bands/singers i like to put on repeat are The Bravery, MGMT, She & Him, The Beatles, The Click Five (Greetings from the Imrie House), Taylor Swift and a tonne of kpop.
I collect: I wouldn't say i collect them but i realised i have quite alot of Disney merchandise?
Favorite song right now: In The Sun by She & Him

If you could trade places with anyone it would be: Rachel Zoe (only so because i think her job is so so so awesome and she has the most amazing collection of vintage jewelry and jackets, oh and her fabulous clientele! And who wouldn't want Brad Goreski as your assistant?!)
90210 or Gossip girl?: I watched 5 eps of 90210 Season 1 and stopped after Adam Gregory left. So i'd say Gossip Girl!
The happiest moment in life: This is cheesy. Uh, i really quite enjoyed January to August of this year. The trip to Korea in February was quite awesome also!
It's Cheesy, but I like: Romantic comedies. I seriously do, even though they're so predictable.
The one food I could eat forever is: At this moment, FU LIN YONG TAU FOO AT SIGLAP.
My secret celebrity crush is: Quite alot, but at this moment Gregg Sulkin and Alex Pettyfer. Go google!
I'm addicted to: ATM, PORTUGESE EGG TARTS. I just had two today! I had 3 last week. :)
My favorite actress is: No one in particular, well maybe Carey Mulligan?
If I were an animal, I'd be: Prairie dog
The one thing I spend too much money on: Clothes, duh. Sucker for cardigans too.
I wish I could Splurge on: So many things! One really really expensive thing that i'd love to have is Alexander Wang's Rocco. And i'd love to own some stuff from Acne!
I'm disappointed about: The delay in the premiere of Beastly (which stars Alex Pettyfer and Vanessa Anne Hudgens)! It was suppose to be out this month but it got delayed to next year because they didn't want to compete with Charlie St. Cloud. CURSE YOU ZAC EFRON!

Meanwhile, school is taking the toll on me and i'm beginning to feel worn out (strange though, cos other people started getting that feeling about....6 weeks ago). But it's not all bad, some assignments (like the one above) and modules are fun to do, but others (*cough* SEA studies *cough* are a pain in the bottom.
And my laptop is a huge, huge distraction. I'm gonna be disciplined and not place it on my desk unless i need it. |

    I finally, finally got to meet Eunice yesterday and it was rather impromptu but i had a good time! I finally bought something in a really long time and it was cheap! Say hello to my new circle sunglasses, which reminds me alot of her and him everytime i look at it. They had a similar oldy-moldy looking version but i decided i looked sinister in that one and this fitted me better. I was so excited to wear it out that i purposely walked home today just so that i could wear them, even though it was bloody hot and i was wearing a maxi skirt. Oh and my old, tattered favourite bag got a replacement. I seriously liked that bag, carried it everywhere that it tore on the inside and outside. Then yesterday i saw the exact same piece at half the price i paid before (i don't know whether to be happy or annoyed) and i bought it! It's a wee bit common now, but i still love it. I normally don't buy exact replacements, just so you know. Even now i don't feel like throwing away the old one. I met IGC (Thaddeus, Mat, Liukun and Yusin) later that night for a very unhealthy but enjoyable dinner as well. We haven't met since January?! Crazy. So we decided to make it a point to meet once every 2-3 months and the next time we're going K!!!!! Hahahahaha no guess whose idea that is. |

Did a bit of sewing on Wednesday. Remember the dress i made sometime back? Yeah, the fit was a bit tight and i decided i needed a heather grey maxi skirt more than a maxi dress (since i already have another heather grey maxi dress)...so i snipped the dress at the waist, made a waistband for the bottom half and added a high-slit at the side for detail. And i love it so much more now. I'm thinking what i should turn the top part into. Sewing and making stuff is fun but extremely tiring to do when you have no patterns and measurements to work with! ....     Dimsum with Funkies :)  WIWT. Cannot see anything also, hahaha. TSR's pussy bow blouse with tiny shorts! |

Love this girl and her pixie face. It's also interesting to see how her style evolved since her rise to model-stardom last year, from vintage blouses and dresses to black, black, black. Loves it. Love how she rocked the pop colour lippie in the last one also (which reminds me, i haven't used my orange lipstick in the longest time).
... Started watching ANTM (on a regular basis) finally after all the 'HOMG you don't watch ANTM?!' from people like Debbie, Tabi and Babugs. I only watch The Rachel Zoe Project and Project Runway muh. I even stopped watching Gossip Girl 1.5 seasons and 1 episode ago. Anyways, i think Cycle 15 is quite interesting cos for once (i think) the girls get to be on Vogue Italia and 2 magazine spreads on top of being signed with IMG models. So the girls are really quite unique, like they're not all pretty-pretty, but still very camera worthy. My favourites are Lexie (incredible side profile), Ann (just bcos she's so awkwardly tall at about 1.89m and so skinny, she's doesn't let that get in her way) and KAYLA (she's so all-rounded and she's a blonde turned redhead...love redheads). For Project Runway Season 8...hmmmm the designers are okay but i do love April (bcos of her love for black, tulle, assymmetricals and mesh) and Andy South (who reminds me a bit of Project Runway extraordinaire Christian Siriano). This has been random, good bye. |

It's recess week this week (we were reminded to have a 'restful break) and i practically slacked the past few days away, save for Encounter Weekend last weekend. Encounter Weekend was great and i had an awesome time bonding with my cellies, we really got to know each other alot better and so i thank God for the time!
The other days were just meeting up with people, eating, sleeping (alot), watching Project Runway Season 8, Rachel Zoe Season 3 and recently Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3 (i love that show, honestly), squeezing my brains for my SEA assignments (finally done with my Reflection Paper) and TRYING VERY VERY HARD to study for New Media. It's an interesting module BUT the notes are so incredibly draggy and so dry compared to my other modules! It's hard, really hard.
But, thank God that i only have one mid-term next week.
I'm meeting Tabit and Bugs tomorrow, no, not to play and chill like we usually do BUT TO WATCH A FILM FOR SEA. It's only been 6 weeks and see what school did to our social life, we even talk about school over twitter now. No kidding.
